timber for scrolling
Where can I buy some timber for scrolling?
I know of Trend Timbers but not had much to do with them.
Does anyone here buy from them?

gidday spring.
yes I do buy from Trend. The guys (and girls) there are fantastic
I also have used some of the ones listed on Roger Gifkins site at
http://www.gifkins.com.au/links.html.
Scrolling timber (ie thin timber) may be available from your local woodworking/woodturning club too at much better prices than commercially.
Our Club has a heap of timber available at the moment - mainly silky oak, Camphor laurel, blue gum. PM me if you or anyone else for that matter would be interested in some BIG chunks.
