Thread: Timber for the Triton Reclining Verandah Chair

Hi,

I live in Brisbane and was wanting to purchase some timber for a Triton project - The "reclining verandah chair" (e.g. http://www.triton.net.au/projects/adv/a07.html ). I went and got a price today for the timber I would need for two of these chairs and it came to $369.50.(Merbav timber??)

As I have NO IDEA about the price of kiln dried timber or the types available, I thought it might be a wise decision to post a message here and get some guide as where to shop.

I live on the southside of Brisbane. I would like some redish coloured KD timber. Any suggestions as to the type, price it may total, and WHERE I can get the timber?
