    Default timber from unusual sources

    Hi all,
seen an interesting post recently regarding finding nice timber in unusual places i.e pallets, timber pegs etc... here's some bearers I found working in a timber yard. Not to mention the 6X2 WRC that came in 5.7mtr lengths as pallets for the weatherboards. such a waste!!SAM_0112.jpgSAM_0114.jpgSAM_0116.jpg

    Thumbs up

Yes, recyclers and scroungers come across some amazing timber.

As for Purple Heart i have seen stacks of undreds of cubic metres in Brasil. They use it to build fences and cattle yards! Mostly çause its so bloody tough!

We made the benchtop for our vanity unit in the bathroom for leftover blackbutt floor boards.
    Looks good too.
