New Timber Yard
Hi all.
Canberra has just given birth to a new timber supplier. Sort of reicarnation really. Adams Timber in Melbourne and Canberra are no more. I previously managed the Canberra Branch of Adams for quite awhile and a few weeks ago I bought the assets and some of the stock. Not actually the business but we are trading in the same premises withthe same phone numbers, but a new name.
MONARO TIMBER.

Monaro Timber can be contacted on 02 62806467 or fax 02 62806487. We currently stock quite a range of furniture timbers, flooring, decking etc and as the year progresses we intend to add a greater number of species to the list, in particular some of our natives. For more info, give us a call.

By the way people, contrary to what Ian may think UBEAUT gets no financial gain from this Bulletin Board or any of the other qreally great stuff on this site.

Money just can't buy that sort of advertising, so I won't part with any!! Thanks for the support.
To answer Iain, sorry mate, only Canberra. The Melbourne operation is all flooring now I understand, but you may need to verify that one for yourself. The Name Adams Timber has disappeared from the Canberra landscape but again, not sure of the situation in Melbourne. But when looking for timber, just read the previous post for directions!

Oh, PS. On the twenty third of March we are having a woodie afternoon. ACT Woodworkers Guild, Triton Club, Graeme from Carba-Tec and a few others are coming along for an afternoon of fun a frivolity. Well a few snags anyway! All welcome.
