Treated Pine Uses
Hi All,
I am making a workbench for a lathe (Which I hope to ger around March 21). I have some treated pine left over which I was thinking of using for the top.
Is there any danger in using treated timber in such a manner?
Thanks
Andrew

Thanks for the info. Someone I was speaking to told me the Copper Sulfide could be toxic.
That person, however, was working off hearsay which (in my opinion) is sketchy at best.
Regarding the foot: Tell me about it! It bloody hurt!

The treated pine has a number of chemicals. One of which is arsnic. Which is why (I believe) they tell us its not for burning.
I'm sure there's a danger listing for treated pine sawdust inhalation one of our members can point us to.
All the bestThanks,
