    Default treating pine post and beams?

    Hi, I wonder if some one can tell me whether it is a regulation or Australian standard to treat exposed structural pine posts and beams if they not going into the ground? (other than termite barriers and wood preservative/ finish)

    if tehy are exposed outside they do, but if used indoors they are fine.
