    Default Tree removed

We had our Kaffir Plum removed today. The arborist said some people use the solid sections for turning but as I don’t have a lathe I didn’t keep any. Apparently this tree was just a teenager and still had a lot of growing to go.

Top of Stump diameter in picture 7 was 855mm top of stump picture 5 was 960mm. Lump of timber in picture 4 was registered by the crane gauge at 850kg.

    Very nice.

Like all fruit and nut trees, it will love to crack, so needs to be cut down and sealed well fast
