    Default What is this type of wood?!

    Hi All,

    Just wondering if the wood in the attached image is a custom job, or if it is something which can be bought pre-made?

    If pre-made, would the wood/material be called and where might I source it?

    Hi Mark, That's laminated bamboo, go to a bamboo flooring shop as a start and ask there, or buy something made out of it at IKEA or some such junk shop and turn it into something nice.

    I'm sure you can get premade panels some place, or go on a night raid at the botanical gardens and make some yourself.
