    Sorry to owner of the tree, have too much to deal with at present
    and Melb contacts weren't interested in helping out.
    Would have loved to mill it tho.

    Now that I've seen a pic of said tree, I'd very much doubt you'll get a sawmiller who'll accept the tree in exchange for the cost of felling it and removing it.

    You'll have to pay a lopper to cut the tree down first and if you can find a sawmill who'll take it, they might offer you $50 maybe $100 to take it but I wouldn't hold your breath.

    I might be interested but won't make an offer till I see it, measure up what is available, is of usable length and what access is like.

    I am told that sharpening handsaws is a dying art.... this must mean I am an artisan.

    Get your handsaws sharpened properly to the highest possible standard, the only way they should be done, BY HAND, BY ME!!! I only accept perfection in any saw I sharpen.
