    Default Weatherboards

Does anyone knows of timber suppliers in Sydney who can supply or mill weatherboards to match existing 100 year old farmhouse in Eastwood. The Boards appears to be rusticated smooth boards and I believe are Redwood. They are approx 230mm from bottom of board to bottom of next board.

I'm trying to get quotes for an extension and some builders have quoted for weathertex products but they're not really close and I would like to determine costs so I can see how much extra it would cost.

try coramba timbers near coffs harbour NSW they can match any profile, the red timber would be red mahogany (doesn't release stain) it is available but you would have to give a good lead time to get it.

You could try Walkers Timbers in Glennie St, North Gosford. They can cut new planer blades to the exact profile of your existing weatherboards, that is if they don't have that particular profile already.

    Thanx Twosheds and InterTD6,

I'll try them both to see if they can match them.

    Cheers
