Wow - what's this? (timber identification)
Having started a little turning, I have started rescueing bits and pieces from mates' yards when they've cut something down.
Anyone have any idea what this is? Wow what a figure!
It is very, very light - at least as light as pine.

I don’t know what it is, but it looks heavily spalted, which may explain its light weight.
