    Default Freud 8" SD208 Dado

    hi there every body, i bought a Freud 8" SD208 Dado blades, not used them yet, was looking for a jig to cut box joints can anyone help me it would be great if so. i seen a jig for a router but i dont have one (cant use router) thank you,(very happy, live life to the full while you can, i did) Jemmy.

    You surprise me that you could even fit a dado blade in a table saw thats in circulation in Ireland.
    The EU I believe wont issue a CE certificate for a saw with long arbours these days.
    I have heard of a British firm that imports a saw from USA I think its called an Excalibur or something like that.

    A jig that works for finger joints with a router will work without much modification on a table saw with a dado blade. Just do a search on 'Box Joint Jig' and/or 'Finger Joint Jig' in Google & you will find a heap of both free & pay-for plans - and the pay plans are usually no better than the free ones.

    Freud also make a specialised set of saw blades for making finger joints - put the blades together so the teeth mesh & you get a 1/4"(6.35mm) slot, put the blades together the other way round & you get a 3/8"(~9.5mm) slot.

    hi there, i am not(NOT)looking plans for a finger joint jig for Router on a table saw. how-ever i AM looking plans for a finger joint table saw jig for a TABLE SAW. thank you. Jemmy.
