    Default 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 Sander

I am getting rid of my crappy Ryobi disc belt sander and I was looking at the triton range to replace it.

Does anyone have any pros/cons for the 2 in 1 against the 3 in 1

Go the 2 in 1. The disk sander is larger, and it is a good machine. For less money than the 3 in 1, you can still buy the spindle sander as well, which has up to a 3" spindle, which is significantly more than the 3 in 1.

So for less money, you get 2 machines which combine to give a greater capacity than the one unit.

Video of the 2 units can be found on my blog if you are interested.

There wasn't a video dedicated to it, but I thought it made an appearance in one or other. Trouble is, I can't remember which one!!! Might be the shield one at a real guess.

I went a saw my local Triton dealer/demonstrator on the way home from work and he recommended buying the two units over the 3in1 as well.

So I have explain to SWMBO why two new bits of equipment followed me out of the store and into the back of the car
