2000 project book question
Hello.
Does anybody have the series 2000 project book at all? I'm only really interested in the butchers block. Any chance of somebody scanning a few pages and letting me have a look?
PM me if you can.
Failing that, can anybody recommend a good project book.

There's a good collection of plans from Woodsmith - the magazine also released (through Time-Life) a collection of books with their projects reprinted.

G'Day Digitalbot
Have you seen woodwhisperer.com site? On that he shows you via 2 videos how to make an end grain cutting board using 2 different types of timber. I imagine they would give you some good info for your project. I have limited experience / skill but I was able to make 4 of the boards sufficiently well for Xmas presents from radiata studs and made one for home using jarrah and blackbutt. The old Triton WC2000 did a good job on that project. I told swmbo that I could do even better if I had a jointer thicknesser.........
All the best,
Geoff

My mistake - wrong address. Correct web site address is thewoodwhisperer.com. When you get to the site, click on "projects" and episode 1 of the making of the cutting board will come up as the first project.. Be ready to write down some dimensions that he gives for the board. Would like to know how you get on with the project.

He he - bet they have some arguments, especially now that one appears to have officially trademarked the name, despite the other claiming he was first (and our own RufflyRustic was using the term a ways back too!)

Thanks for the correct thewoodwhisperer.com address. As soon as it gets warmer here I may well start. At the moment it's freezing!
