$360 average price for Triton 2400W router?
Afternoon all,
Well, I've finally had a week off work and have had time to get back into the shed . I'm now alot more relaxed, and only a few more weeks at work before 3 weeks off at Chrissy!
But I discovered some Gifkins bits I purchased over a year ago (1/2") don't fit my Black & Decker router (silly me who excitedly bought them without thinking!).
I've looked at a few online sites, and is the $360 mark the average price for the big Triton 2400W router? With Christmas coming up, this may be good timing!
(I will definately be keeping my Black & Decker router for non-router table work - this has proved to be a VERY trusty machine).
Cheers,
Nathan.

If you have no qualms about going to bunnings, I would grab a printout from Sydneytools online site and try and get it priced matched and beaten by 10%.
That should enable you to get it for $338 or so.
If bunnings refuse to price match from different states ask them to show you where on their site that said they couldn't. Its been done by someone in this forum i believe.
Nvm your from NSW :P

Hi folks,
Sorry for not replying with an update - I guess I've been too busy playing with my new Triton router
SWMBO and I were in Bunnings at the Crossroads for some other stuff and I thought I would swing by the tool shop. I was looking at the routers when SWMBO pointed out a 'special' price tag... $340!!! Needless to say it came home with us.
Get home, open the top of the box and the massive spring leaps out, nearly took me eye out! The plastic cap that sits over the spring had broken at some stage, and the only thing holding the massive spring in was the cardboard box lid!
Changed it for another the following day, by that time the price was back to the usual $380.
P.S. Its an awesome, awesome router
Thanks for the help guys.

Good price at Colli
I found one in Colli, Malaga today for $345 and some cents.
You could hardly see me for dust as I hied myself off to Bunnings, Balcatta (I'd already viewed Bunnings Malaga and was on my way to Carbatec) where I found one at the top of the 30m stack of find Ryobi kit. Price match done, cost me about $310.
