Default AJA150 in MK3 Work centre?

I just grabbed a cheap Ozito router at Bunnings to start mucking around with, and am wondering if I can mount the AJA150 router mounting plate to my MK3 workcentre.

The eBay seller (item 130525912925) reckons it can, but there are numerous threads on here that seem to contradict and confuse the issue.

Does anyone know for sure? As in, has anyone done this? I'd want to be able to mount it upside down and right way up.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Yes it can be used in the MK3 workcentre in the docking mode without any problems.

It can also be used in the Table Saw mode provided that you make a suitable hole in the top or you make your own MDF replacement top for router.

But bear in mind that because of the design of the mounting plate you will loose quite some depth, approx 15 mm, so the thickness of the MDF top may not make it worthwhile.

That's why Triton very quickly made the original router table top which could be used on the workcentre without the router stand.
