Battery Charger model/Specs for Triton Respirator
Hi all, After some house reneravations, storing many items and now getting things sorted I have realised I may have thrown away the battery Charger for the Triton Powered Resporator (thought it was an old phone charger of a phone I no longer have).
Can anyone help with the model number and/or the Electrical Specifications (output V and Amp).
I have a billion of similar batery chargers and one may suit, one may even be the actual Triton one but I dont remeber what it looks like.
Thanks heaps
GeoffGeoffrey
I love work, it fasinates me, I could sit around and watch it all day.

If you cant find one you can pick up a generic charger from dick smiths or jaycar or even kmart or big w etc... Just make sure she can output 9v at 500ma minimum. Most of the multi-voltage chargers come with multiple sized fittings too
I also have so many chargers like these that I have to stick labels on them to remember which one is used for each tool
Might just be getting oldHow much wood could the woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck could chuck wood?

labels
I write on my charger units with one of those liquid white out pens you buy in places like Officeworks and News Agencies as I found many of the labels eventually peeled off. I also write the date of purchase on my battery packs (even started doing it on my cars batteries).
See here for picture example

Triton respirator battery charger
Like Geoffbarker a couple of years ago it looks like i have discarded the battery charger for my respirator.
I noticed in the replies that people have been specifying a minimum of 9v chargers when the capacity shown under the filter says the batteries are 6v, like Prof Sumner-Miller "why is this so?'
Has anyone found a universal "smart charger" that will give a quick charge of 4.5 hours @ 1500mA output?
These details are printed on the batteries in the respirator.

Hi,
I am cleaning out my shed at the moment due to relocating to a small country town later this year.
I opened a box that wasn't labelled and it was a Triton Powered Respirator that I haven't used for about 9 years, yes 9years!.
Everything was there , except the charger. I might add that the batteries still had charge!!!!
So I did the usual search and couldn't find the charger. Went to Jaycar, but they couldn't help me and the Triton website was a lost cause.
So I reverted to the experts here and found the reference to the "Old Bloke" and I found the reference to the model etc for the correct charger.
Went and did a search in my other shed and found a box with 3 chargers in it. One was a Model AD-0950-SA8 with the right input and output details.
I presume the difference between the SA9 and the SA8 is just a question of age or production date.
So from one "Old Bloke" to another, thank you my friend and you have made me a very happy camper today!
Regards
Paul
