Bowed mk3 top
So I've realised my worktop is slightly bowed near the blade. I'm tempted to invert the worktop table and chuck some weights on it (leaving it on a flat concrete garage floor). Would this work? Any other thoughts?

It's worth a try, however I would put thin chocks under the edges to make the weight go over centre and spring back to flat.

I put chocks under the bow and stood on the rest.

Doesn't that risk the opposite problem - ie it might get rid of the concave "bow" but couldn't it lead to a bulge or convex shape then emerging if I chock it up??

Sorry for the lack of reply, my bad.
yes if you made the chocks too large you could overcompensate. But if you don't go " past" the flat point the steel may spring back to un-flat. It will be trial and error.
