Was in Bunnies this pm.. Bought a diamond disc to cut a few quarry tiles. The bloke in the tool section asked what sort of angle grinder I had, I told him it was a $29.99 Ozito bought in the store a few months ago. His reply: "It should do the job O.K. but if you burn it out bring it in and I'll replace it!" So There!

That is one of the really good things about Bunnings, their return policy. In line with K-Mart and Target, if you change your mind you can return it for a refund or exchange. I have done that a few times when I had to guesstimate the size of a washer or the like. Naturally you can't return tinted paints or timber which you had cut to size! I once bought a bed and changed my mind and went to cancel the order and was shocked to find I could not. A check with Consumer Affairs confirmed that legally they were right and I had a new bed. We have become quite used to the generous return policies of the big companies so remember that before complaining about little things.

Also, my friend who works in Bunnings tells me they get all sorts of things returned after they have been opened and they sell at a discount. Worth keeping your eyes open.

Can't really chat up the checkout girls as the other half normally accompanies me to buy plants and/or have a cappucino.

Must say I can't see how you could see injustice in a retailer making the odd mistake in pricing of items, I saw some glue that was mispriced, pointed it out to a staff member and they took the incorrect sign down immediately to correct the error. It is after caveat emptor and you shouldn't expect them to give stuff to you below cost. Keep in mind their generous return policy, you can't beat that.
