Cleaning Wood Resin off Tools
Whats the best way to clean off built up resin/gunk off tools?
I shaped some pine today and it built up a bit of resin/gum on the router bits that wouldnt come off with a bit of toolbrush scrubbing.
Can a wire brush and or some type of solvent be used without harming the router bits?

Dean,
It has been suggested to me that oven cleaner (spray) is good. Here is a link to a US Woodnet Forum on cleaning Circular saw blades - Most seem to mention oven cleaners or "Simple Green" (All Purpose cleaner). http://www.forums.woodnet.net/ubb/Fo...ML/006729.html
Cheers, Steve
