R.I.P. Compact Saw
Well, Ive done it............... I sold my compact saw/Triton circular saw with extension table and assorted jigs and have gone over to one of the dark sides by buying a Hafco saw table.
I must say that it was a bitter sweet moment coz that saw table did everything asked of it over the couple of years that I had it........... I just wanted a saw that would cut 45degree angles with little effort............. I still retain my Router, Router table, finger jointer and biscuit joiner so it's stll legal for me to haunt this forum...............Catch ya later,
Peter B.

It really is horses for courses. For the forumites here the Workcentre provides sterling service and meets our needs. For others, well their needs and aspirations are different therefore their equipment is different.

I have been using it for about a month now and I have found the fence to be VERY accurate.......... As far as Triton's gear, I still have a workshop crammed with it and from the look of the new tool releases I don't think that will change soon.Catch ya later,

Next thing, you'll bolt both the 'cheese graters' on the left side, and then build your Triton router table into the right wing between the fence rails
