Dust Removal - Workcentre – Series 2000 and Router Table
Hi Guys
Can anybody give some tips for a aftermarket dust system for the triton workbench?
I had the triton bucket system ...it was only okay (but the filter always blocked up).
I now have a carbatec dust extractor (2HP), which I have set up to extract dust from the
bottom . How can I extract dust from the top (above the saw blade).
cheers
Stig

The triton gear is woeful in terms of dust extraction.
Even a 2HP is going to be marginal for fine dust control.
Have a look in the dust forum where there is a sticky in the dust forum which shows how to modify the generic 2HP DC to get an extra 60% more flow
You will need to ditch the triton OH guard and make a custom guard to take advantage of at least a 4" duct.
There are plenty of ideas in the dust forum for custom OH guards
