Oh ok good it took me ages to get it all in alignment, Im very pleased with the accuracy it produces although i found that 44 degrees on the protractor guide was a perfect 45 degrees miter

Build yourself a crosscut sled.
Your riving knife shouldn't be doing that. You need to readjust the saw.If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.
