Post Fitting height winder attachment to WC2000 purchased in 1999

I purchased a Triton Work Centre as a gift for my son in September 1999 and I would now like to make another gift of a Blade Height Winder. Will the WCA390 Blade Height Winder fit directly to the WC2000 of 1999 vintage, or does the table require an upgrade kit?

It is not so much the table that requires the up grade, it is the saw cradle.

At a rough guess you will need to purchase a new saw cradle and height winder for your son, sounds like your work center is the same vintage as mine, and I had to replace the saw cradle to add the hieght winder to my center, as well I had to drill a hole in one of the guide slots a allow the handle access to operatet the winder.

Triton include the appropriate instructions for this operation.

As mentioned you will need to purchase the new saw slide chassis (WCA400) for the height winder kit and as for the table top just a simple hole needs to be drilled

Thanks Budda & johna. It's the thought that counts so I think I might give the boy the Height Winder and let him shell out the $50 for the mount upgrade.

I entered the world of Triton a few months ago and have bought most of the bits. One of the most useful is the Height Winder.
