    Default fitting triton 2000 wheels to Mk3

    I have had a Mk3 since 1992. Never bothered with things like wheels I'm strong, I can lug a Triton around. Well, I was strong, but now I'm getting old and wheels don't look such a bad idea! At the Sydney woodworking show a guy on the Triton stand told me I could use a set of 2000 wheels on the Mk3 as Mk3 wheels aren't available, I only had to drill a couple of extra holes and 'Bob's your uncle'. Having looked at the Mk3 stand quite carefully today the fitting's not as obvious as I thought it would be. To me it seems that the wheels can't use any of the holes in the stand that were factory drilled for a set of Mk3 wheels. Is there anyone out there who has done this and knows how it's done?

    I have a set of mk 3 wheels, I bought the wrong ones on ebay a couple of years ago..if you have the ws 2000 wheels I'll do you a swap.

    Thanks a lot for this. What a nuisance that I didn't wait a bit. Unfortunately I have gone ahead and brutalised the set of 2000 wheels to make them work on my Mk3. Very sorry that I can't help you out.
