Gremlins in the W.C.
Has anybody had this experience. Went to use the work centre in rip mode and ran a piece of scrap through just to check and noticed that it was getting stuck on the splitter.
OK the saw has just been sitting there for 2 weeks, no use, not borrowed or anything and it's out of whack! The blade was visibly out and was almost hitting the sides of the channel.
I fixed it of course and works as well as ever. It must be something to do with all those cyclones in Queensland!

I gave up on Tritons stupid little pieces of plastic bushing and bolted the Triton saw direct to the mounting plate. I also used locking nuts rather than nylocs cause everywhere there is plastic you run the risk of movement. Once it was bolted down tight it just doesn't move and to date it been at least 12 months since I aligned the saw and thats when I changed the attachment system.
The drawback is the saw can only be used in the W/C but then I have a few other saws for hand held work. Works for me______________

my triton saw has been in the mounting plate as per teh manual now since january 2005. I checked for accuracy last week, as i have done periodically since installing it and its still spot on. when i set it all up i took a full day to make sure everything was spot on and it has stayed that way.

Bloody cats
I moved into a new house with a concrete slab and waited two weeks for the carpet.
Cats walked on the walls, got no idea how but there were prints up the wals to about 3ft

Sounds a bit like a site I worked on not long ago. The owner's other half dropped in after 'twas plastered, to decide on paint colours. She was still puzzling over how footprints got on the ceiling when I left...
No WC's involved though... sorry.

Problem solved. It's the same guy who moves the pictures on the wall.

I feel sorry for that bloke. Everyone notices when he knocks 'em askew, but no-one says a blasted thing when he straightens 'em up. What a thankless job...
