Hills Clearance Centre Riverwood, NSW
Just popped in to the clearance centre again.( I Love living around the corner from these guys)
They want to clear all Triton gear before Christmas if possible and are willing to knock prices down further wherever they can.
If only I can convince my wife I need more orange stuff in my garage
Workcentre is going around the $400.00 great buy for christmas

20% off selected saw blades
Riverwood Clearance centre has dropped prices on most of the
Triton saw blades.
SBA056 - $47.95
SBA050 - $23.95
SBA051 - $32.40
SBA019 - $19.95
SBA027 - $39.15
SBA026 - $47.60
SBA024 - $43.95
SBA020 - $23.15
There were more blades there but these are the only ones they've reduced.
What is the difference between a Triple cut and a tungsten tipped blade?
I've only used the blade that came with my saw, only doing general stuff at the moment but I'm looking at making my own solid body electric guitar. any ideas what type blade I should use?Don't live in the past, it's just so yesterday!

The triple cut has 3 different teeth and is used more for fine crosscuts. It helps stop tearout. I'd suggest a 60 tooth if they have one. These were around $100 before they appeared at the clearance centres.
For ripping the standard blade is OK, it's an all-rounder (40 tooth from memory). Ideal ripping blade is 24 tooth, general purpose is 40 and ideal crosscut is 60+. Hope that helps a bit.
you'll find some info on our website:
www.tritonwoodworkers.org.au
click on the table saw icon in the joints, tools and techniques section. If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Picked up some Triton blades earlier this week and the prices have dropped further.
Some examples. Quite a few left.
SBA026 now $30
SBA051 now $21
Plus other bits and pieces.
