Default Life seems to have me in circles

    Hi all,

It's been a while, I first started here after my wife bought me a Triton 2000 workcentre for my first father's day present in 2003, and did that set off a train reaction.

All I seemed to do was dream up projects that needed that extra tool...if only I had .... I could make ....

I later convinced myself I needed a cabinet saw after chasing the triton around the garage with a 8x4' sheet.

Kept the triton router and sold all other triton gear to buy the cabinet saw. Then after a few years money was tight, son was getting older, spending less time in garage and there was nothing really left that needed building or fixing so sold the saw (kept the router). And converted the garage into a retreat for our son with a pool table, TV etc.

He's now 17 and heavily into Lego and wanted a storage unit "like Dr Lee's" (Chinese Dr) who stores all his herbs in wood drawers that cover the wall."If only...." and saw a Triton set on eBay with most things (the extension table being vital post earlier experiences) and made an offer thinking it won't be accepted... well it was and have ripped 2 sheets of 9mm ply for the Lego Drawers. The Skill saw it came with is in urgent need of some dental repair, but gee it's fun again. I have even started thinking "gee a thicknesser and jointer would be handy, I'll have to get helical cutters for them, maybe if......opps I really need to stop."

Anyways, looking forward to keeping reality at hand and the future open.

There's my circle, anyone else been in circles?

    Cheers, Steve

Good to hear you’ve come full circle, Steve. so many possible projects, so little time.

    Have fun!
