Lost my 1/4" to 1/2" collet
Just when I needed it I cant find my 1/4" collet.
I figure the easiest way to find it is to buy a replacement, after which the original will reappear.
Is there anything special about the Triton collet or would any good quality one do the job?
Where would be the best place (in Sydney) to buy a Triton collet, I dont remember seeing them in Bunnings- maybe have to get them to order one for me?

Bunnings, no. I'd be ringing triton and get one sent asap in the mail. maybe a good quality tool store might have one. I don't think it has to be a Triton.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

The original 1/4" Triton collet had problems with slipping or vibrating and was modified, might be a good idea to stick with the genuine Triton collet to avoid similar problems.

Clint,
Stick to original Triton 1/4" collet insert - can't have problems when You choose original collet.
Also, to prevent losing it again, attach a little holder anywhere on the side of your router table, and religiously use that holder to store that liitle collet.
