    Default Makita Barrel jigsaw - fit triton jigsaw kit ?

    HI all, first time long time etc etc. I have a Makita 4351FCT jigsaw, barrel type, and was wondering if it would fit a Triton jigsaw kit ?

    If by Triton Jigsaw kit you mean the plate that fits the router table with the jigsaw upside down, then the answer is almost certainly yes, unless the Makita has an enormous base plate . The Triton mounting plate mounts the jigsaw by clamping the jigsaw's base plate down and stops it from moving about by using some stops at the side & back.

    If you mean does it fit the box that the Triton jigsaw came in, then I think the answer is no.
