Question Makita or Triton 9 1/4 saw

Giday. i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on whether to buy a Triton 9 1/4 saw or a Makita saw for my Triton Saw table as the GMC one i am currently using is, lets say CRAP!
Ive compared the prices of both and i can get the Triton saw for about $30.00 more. Has anyone found and pro's or con's with either saw?
    Cheers

    Dazzla,

The simple answer is the Triton...it is made for the WC and there are adjustments Cams in the setting up of the WC that are much easier with the Triton Saw. Pay the extra $30.00 it's worth it. I have both...my makita for hand use and the Triton permanently in the WC.

    Dazzla,

    As skot said.......... ditto.

You are going to have a bit of mucking around to fit the makita in the 2000 whereas the Triton was made to fit.

Thanks for the info guys....looks like a new triton saw is coming my way for my B-day next week. Might look at putting in a 10in blade as has been discussed in another column.

Ditto above with your choice. I bought my triton saw seven years ago and it nevermisses a beat when its being used.
