Question Metric bits and Triton router

Iīm thinking about buying a Triton router. Here in Germany the avaliable router bits have metric shaft diameters , that means not 12,7mm ( 1/2")as the Tritonīs collet but 12mm.I feel that this may be problem. Has anybody experience with this issue.

    regards

    Thumbs up

That will be no problem..........Metric bits fit well. Australia uses the metric system and there are no problems here!

Careful folks; You need to be clear in your answers here.

The useful part of the bit may be metric, ie produced in millimetres but the shank of the bit is still imperial. (1/2" or 1/4") We have a hybrid system here in Australia.
