    Default misaligned crosscut fence

    Hi,

I have just started using my wc2000 again, and have noticed the crosscut fence is not true.
I'm pretty sure it has always been so, which explains why my crosscuts have always not been square .

when I place a straight edge along the mdf face it rocks from side to side.
I have removed the mdf, and checked it and it was still out.

is this a common fault ? and if so does anyone have any idea how to fix it ?

    cheers

As many of us have done, throw the b*****y thing away, build a cross cut sled (a search will bring up more replys then hot dinners)
I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

    Default Not unheard of

    Moray,

In my seven years of selling Triton in Japan, I have had this problem once.

To fix it, either get a replacment fence, or use packers to straighten the MDF fences.

Not sure when you purchased your workcenter, however it sounds like a genuine warranty claim to me.

    Default cross cut

I have/had the same problem with mine, but solved it by using a brake shoe adjuster I had, I jambed it between the fence and the body of the triton and was able to screw the adjuster out, moving the fence at one end, until it all squared up - well according to my square anyway!
    Regards,
    Mick
