MK3 parts wanted
Hi All
I got given a working MK3 this weekend, but it's missing the protractor and the riving knife. For me, rip cuts are a bonus to my current setup, so not complaining but if I can get the parts Id be even happier.
I know these products are pretty rare now but I thought I'd try and ask anyway.
I believe the part numbers are:
WCA045 - Riving knife
and if there's one about:
WCA149 - Mk3 Protractor
But I'd also settle for a WCA338 - Cross cut fence if you it can fit to an MK3
I thought I might have more luck with the diving knife because some people tale them off. If you can help out please let me know, and how much you'd like and how much to post to Brisbane
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,
I think I can help you with those bits, but unfortunately they're locked away at the railway museum I volunteer at and of course, it's still closed up.
However, I will be doing a security patrol Tuesday next week, so I'll keep an eye on this thread and if you haven't had any other offers in the meantime, I'll check it out then.

I contact the Triton Group and they were amazing. Chris (who is the secretary I believe) didn't have anything directly but keeping so close to the "pulse" of older Triton's he had a list of gumtree ads (which my search terms didn't find) and a few other leads which I'm still chasing. Can't speak highly enough of the guy - literally emailed back in a hour on multiple occasions - for no reason but to help. Just one of those things where you go "ah, beauty - there's still good people out there".
Cheers for this - this was a big help.

Paul,
that's kind of you. If my Triton forum daily update service was working I would have seen your post above and responded earlier. But it hasn't worked since about last June. Happy to help.
Chris

Paul,
I did my patrol on Tuesday, but all I could find spare was the plastic shield to the riving knife. Searched high and low for the metal part, but to no avail. It might pop up in the future, so I'll keep an eye on this thread. Happy to send you the plastic bit if it's any help.
cheers, Bob

Hey Bob,
Just the fact that you took the time to check for me - I really appreciate it. I'm definitely more interested in the actual knife part (as opposed to the extractor section) so I'll politely decline your offer at this stage, but again, I do appreciate you having a look for me.
(Sorry about the delay - I've been away a few days)

No problem, mate. If I do find the other part, I'll be in touch.
Cheers, Bob
