MK3 video or DVD
I have seen other threads discussing the availability of the video or DVD for the 2000 and MK3 workcentres.
The other posts pointed to youtube, but these are no longer available - unless someone has managed to download them to their pc?
I have seen some discussion about copying the MK3 video to DVD, but from the posts its hard to tell if that ever happened.
Does anyone have a copy of the MK3 video on DVD?
I have a MK3 with the router table top and would like to get a copy of the training video. I have all the paper manuals etc.. , just not the video.
thanks.

Router table model
I have just bought a Mklll work centre which included the router table. I have managed to download the "Work Centre New Series Mklll Assembly & operating Manual" Now I need the same thing for the router table. Can somebody tell me the model number for the table that fits the Mklll so that I can find a manual for it? The table top is labeled "Triton Router & Jigsaw Table" It came with two mounting plates one plain pressed steel and one which is held in a cradle the same as the saw cradle. I suppose one is for a router & the other for a jigsaw.
The router table is shorter than the saw table and has two red plastic clips that clip in to the aluminium bearing channels of the work centre but there is then nothing to stop the table sliding back & forth when using a router. Is there a panel missing?
Have attached a couple of photos. Confused.Just Do It !

From the pictures you uploaded, I think that you are lucky enough to have 2 mounting plates for the router table, normally there is only one plate. The same plate is/can be used for the router and the jigsaw.
For mounting the router table on the stand securely, you use the same silver pins that mount the saw table top. When the pins are used on the router table top, you will see that the pins go through the MK3 stand holes, then go all the way through the router top, when the pins are twisted they will hold the top securely.
If you are looking for online manuals, then the ACT triton owners club has many of them in their library - Triton Owners' Club (A.C.T) Inc. - Home .
The MK3 manual is located at: Triton Owners' Club (A.C.T.) Inc. - Library_Manuals . I couldn't see a manual one for the MK3 Router table top.
I have attached a copy of page 4 of the router manual - it shows how the table top is fixed to the saw stand.
Hope that helps sort it out.

triton router table
The router table is held in place by the two locking pins at the front as used by the saw table and the two red sliding clips that lock into the carriage. The router can't move because it's held in place by the cross bars under the table top. There isn't any extra piece to fill the gap.
My router table didn't come with any extra red plastic bits, but it may be an older model.
I thought I still had my manuals with my project book but I can't find them anywhere.
Best wishes
Steve

Mk3 video or DVD
Thanks GoGuppy
I actually have a copy of the VHS video now, I purchased it from CheapTools on ebay.
I was going to copy it to DVD myself as the DVD is a lot easier to navigate with on your PC, but to achieve the DVD I would have to purchase a video capture card for my PC, then plug the VHS video out into the PC to capture the whole video and then convert it all to some useful video standard that will fit on a DVD, then burn the DVD.
Maybe another ebay purchase to get an older capture card some time.
thanks again for the offer though.
regards

I have the VHS instruction tape "Making it with Triton" (from 1989 I think) and a copy of it on hard disk. It is over 4 hours long but is divided into short chapters. It covers the MK 3 and router table. It is possible to make copies of it to DVD.

Mk lll router mounting
Ray,
I think you are correct there. The black mounting plate as in your picture can also be turned over and mountedbetween two angle strips on the under side of the router table with the router mounted upside down. I think the other plate mounted in the chassis in my photo can only be used for trenching, rebating etc. in the same manner as shown in your photo.
Think I have it sorted now. Many thanks.
