The new jaws on gthe Triton web site do not have the bracing. Must be Chinese?

G'day all,
Well . . . The nice UPS man just came by about an hour ago with my new SUPERJAWS!!
Just unfolded it, a little adjustment to the tension tab and easy peasy.
Spent 30 minutes putting her through her paces and it's fabulous. You blokes hit it right on the money. And yes, it is the Australian one (clearly marked so) with the braces, not the Chinese one without. So far have only pinched my hand once (I did so whilst looking directly at a sticker that clearly indicated not to put your &*$# hand there). So, all according to the Code of Practice--fiddle with it first and then look at the manual.
This will be a great addition to my shed. Just have to tell SWMBO when she sees it "What, honey, oh I've had that a long time."Cheers,
Bob

Good stuff Bob.
I want one too - for sawing firewood and out the back.
Noticed the ones in Bunnies are the Aussie ones - wonder when the Chinky ones will start coming through.

I love my superjaws.. I have two of them and ne'er a day goes by when I am in the shed that one, if not both of them is not used in some way. They are juust so versatile, 101 uses bleh 1001 more likely!!!!
Just my opinion of course but I reckon they are as good as a second pair of hands.

I was having a day of displaying childish curiosity by putting my hand in the jaws to see how tight it would go, just one more little push and I was reaffirming my faith in the lord, and becoming adult again rather rapidly.
God that hurtStupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Enjoy We do!
If you are anything like me, your superjaws will quickly look like you have owned it for years - drips of paint, glue, wax etc etc. This one isn't a toy - it works for a living!"Clear, Ease Springs"

Have already scuffed it up pretty good (well, not really, just a small scuff). Don't want it looking like a NEW tool as SWMBO will have a fit. Teejay, you will be extra pleased. It is the bee's knees and no mistake. Although the new Chinese one might not be. Pity they can't just keep making them here in OZ (Oh my Lord, Stockholm Syndrome! I've identified with my captors! Woe is me.)
Cheers,
Bob

Folding up techinque(s)?
Each time I fold my SuperJaws up, I wonder (briefly) whether there are a range of techniques that individuals have developed for fluidly folding their SJs up?
Is there an international tool olympics event for the shortest time taken to fold SJs away?
I tend to drop the bottom brace across my boot to pop it, then fold the locking lever left-handed just before the right hand folds the bottom brace and leg away. Then, round to the front, fold braces, then lift by the front jaw so the front legs swing into place, and it sits on its bum.
How do other folks do it??
Cheers,
Andrew
