Orbital Sander
My Triton Orbital sander that attaches to an angle grinder blew apart a short time ago.
I was talking to the blokes on the stand at the Brisbane show today and they said that it would be covered as a warrenty job and could be replaced because there had been some quality control problems with the supplier some years ago when I bought it.
they told me if I took the backing plate to a supplier I would be able to pick up a replacement pad. Can anyone tell me if this is true, I don't want to embarrass myself by romping into Bunnies and get laughed out of the place.

Jamesy depending where you are in Brissy Triton are holding a demo evening at Everton park bunnings wed 11 june at 6pm there are usually 3 or 4 Triton reps available maybe even the guy from woodshow , so maybe take grinder attachment along & they can back you up if bunnings staff jack up.
