paint codes
Anyone know what the equivalent paint codes are for telecom gold (triton orange!) and charcoal grey? I've got myself a restoration project and I'd like to get the colours right, this will save me having to paw through manufacturers catalogues at the shop.
thanks

Paul, Triton's website gives the following paint details :
QUESTION 13: Is touch-up paint available for Triton products?
ANSWER: No, the paint finish on Triton products is an epoxy powdercoat, oven cured. A close match can often be achieved by your local paint supplier.
Colour matching has been performed by Bristol Paints. Your local Bristol Paints outlet can provide the Triton colour by supplying them with the following information:
Bristol Supreme Interior/Exterior Enamel Gloss - 0.5L
Base C
XK 55.00
XBPU 161.00
XF 5.00
XG 41.00

I also have somewhere the paint details for Bunnings to match it but presume that your country's paint details would be different.
Peter.

Peter
Seeing as how you buy your orange paint by the tanker full, maybe you should send a paint parcel over to Sash maker?
Isnt this why we invaded Iraq, so we could continune to buy orange paint?

Al,
Yes, but would it pass British customs, they probably think it is a great big paint bomb and blow it up.
Imagine London all covered with orange paint  - I better send some.
