    Default work piece support

I would like to make a support for my 2000 for the longer work pieces that extend past the end of the table top. The el cheapo models are available at Bunnings but if anyone has a plan or diagram of a home made one I would appreciate it.

I used to use a single roller stand but I kept knocking it over, now I use the four roller stand that I got from a garage sale. It is more stable and the wood sits better.

New Yankee Norm made a complex adjustable one that you could buy plans for.

    Here are a few ideas

    G'day Davmar

Just yesterday I cut a 1200 X 900 sheet MDF. I used the Gorilla (that's the brand name) platform ladder that I bought from Bunnies for $59. I clamped a piece of MDF to its surface to make it level with the the WC 2000. I did a "dry" run before turning on the saw. It worked well

You could try that until you get something better. BTW, I find that Gorilla very useful. Use it all the time as a portable workbench. Take it outdoors to do my sanding.

    Safe woodworking

Since this is the Triton section, what about a couple of Multistands? Useful for lots more than infeed/outfeed support

    cheers
