Where to purchase Superjaws in Adelaide
Hi all, was wondering if anyone knew where I might be able to pick up Superjaws here in Adelaide. I have tried a number of different bunnings, mitre 10, Gasweld...but with no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers...Rob

As the company who maufactures them is in has gone bankrupt you won't find too many places with any stock.

Triton Superjaws
,
I too live in Adelaide and have been looking for Super Jaws for some time. I'm fairly sure I've attended every single hardware store in the metro area and all the Gasweld stores too! I even had some friends of mine check their local country stores without any luck! I think that just about everything Triton has gone! The last Triton stuff I was able to locate was at Stratco St. Agnes. They are clearing all the remaining stocks of other Stracto stores...but don't hold your breath for any outstanding bargains. 30% off all remaining stock - and there isn't much left. Router bits, a few random orbital sander attachments, sanding pads and saw blades. No tables / stands or larger items....and no Super Jaws!
Richard.

Thanks guys, doesnt look like I will be able to get one anywhere here. Lloyd, I think the other superjaws like tool you are talking about is the Jawhorse, but of course it doesnt seem to be available in Aust. Maybe it will come on the market here soon. In the meantime....will keep checking ebay.

If you are talking about the Rockwell Jawhorse I am hoping for the same thing.
I have seen a few Rockwell products in Mitre10 of late so hopefully more Rockwell products will be available in Australia soon."There is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it's all dark."

I have a Rockwell JawHorse in my shed - review is on Stu's Shed. They will be available in Australia very (very) soon.
The top of the range will be sold under the Worx Professional brand (which is identical to the one I have and have reviewed). Cost will be around the $250 (very approximately).
And just to tempt you - here is a pic from my blog with a JawHorse jaw and the SuperJaws jaw to give you an idea of their respective sizes.
In Oz, in order of budget to professional, their brands are Rockwell, Worx, Worx Professional.
However, the pro range in the US is under the Rockwell brand, so if you are looking for reviews at the moment, look for that."Clear, Ease Springs"
