Default Question about the Multi Stand

Could someone please tell me what width of wood you can clamp in the multi stand please, will it take 2" ?
I want to make a frame for my shed and have not enough room to work on the floor, but could do what I need if I can set the 2 outriggers (4" X 2") in the mutli stands and set the runners in between.
I've read the blurb on the triton site and done a search in this forum, but seem to have drawn a blank on the info I'm after.

    Thanks for any help.

    Chris.

Its 32 or 38mm. You can also wind the screw clamp all the way out & use ordinary screws to hold the timber.

    Hi,

I measured and it will take 45mm plus some thin wood for padding.
    regards

Thanks very much for your responses "lesmeyer" & "bsrlee". That helps me in my decisions.
