Removing outer flange washer on circualr saw
All
I am changing the blade in my 235mm circular saw. I need some advice on removing the outer flange washer from the arbor shaft.
The blade retaining bolt has been removed but I have no idea on how to get the outer flange washer off.
Any assistance will be appreciated
Thanks, Anthony

Dear Anthony,
I reckon it will just pop off if you fully extend the blade (ie. fully lower the motor), turn the saw upside down, and give the blade a gentle sideways tap from behind (ie. under the motor) with a piece of wood (and maybe a hammer...). It wont be screwed on - it's probably just "gummed" itself to the blade.
Any chance of a close-up photo?
Best Wishes,
Batpig.

Batpig, thanks for the help. Did as you suggested and the washer poped off.
