    Default router set up cost

Can people give me an idea of the cost of a second hand Triton router set up which I presume is a router table and router. Unfortunetaly I don't have access to ebay.

    Thanks

I've been hunting around for one of those for a while. It's almost impossible to get a series 2000 setup. Even if you do find one, they don't come cheap. The new price for the table and stand is around $320 and I've seen good second hand ones on ebay go around the $240-$250 mark and then they have to pay freight. Not worth the effort IMHO. Most for sale are the older Mk3 models and are no where near as good as the later one. They also get reasonably good money for them, providing they are not living in the back of Burke. I've given up and just got a cheap GMC powered router table for $199 which is fine for the small sections I use and goes through pine with ease. It has satisfied my 'Router Hunger' for the moment and got it out of the system. When I'm ready I will sell that (they bring around $130 second hand) and then try to justify the outlay of the Triton setup. By the time you get a Triton router as well, the whole thing is around $800. I'd have to make heaps more letterboxes to justify that
