Router Table and CMT Bits
I need some advice please. I have a triton router and table. Today I placed my CMT Ogee router bit in the table mounted router and discovered that when I place the bit in the router I cannot raise the bit sufficient to utilise all of the shape. I need to have about an extra 1/8th/3/16th inch.
Any ideas? The best I can come up with is to not place the bit all the way in but that goes against everything I have read.

Re My Post About CMT Router Bit And Triton Router
After posting my Question I went back to my problem and took my router out and played with it a bit more . I discovered my router sticks about an inch from full depth. I did some manual coaxing and it seems to be okay now. I do not know what the problem was or is but I thought I would leave the thread on the forum just incase others have the problem:mad:

Did you have the depth stop set?

Boxers, just a tip.
When you put your bit in the router don't put it hard to the bottom of the collet, lift it about 1/8" before tightening.

Plunge movement
the problem turned out to be a mark on one of the two metal silver pistons (the plunge mechanism moves up and down on). It looks as though it has been slightly dented and stops the plunge mechanism from moving freely. It needs some extra effort to move it past it..

If it is a manufacturing fault, get back to Triton about it.
First time I've heard this one. Can it be gently corrected?"Clear, Ease Springs"
