Had a call back from Triton UK today. I really cannot fault their willingness to try and address this issue,
Triton UK sent the photos I sent to them over to Australia and the response from the factory was that they were going to quality check one there for me and send it over with the next batch.
Having already got the workcentre and other bits I do not want to ditch the router tablen not least because I chose the Triton system due to space being a premium.
Lets hope one direct from the factory and pre-checked can do the job. Apparently the Triton stated tolerances are 0.5mm which I would be content with (my current table top and the replacement are both 1mm+ out of true.
Anyway - full marks to Triton for customer service and being willing to go the extra mile to get this sorted.

My replacement table has proven to be fine. A very small dip in the table but less than 0.5mm. The router plate sits flush as does the insert. The only issue I had was the fence out of square but with careful use of a mallet I was able to straighten it out so it's now spot on.
Full marks to Triton UK for sorting this out. There after sales service has been excellent.

Good news - hope springs eternal then that they will find a flat one for me in the next consignment. I will wait to hear......
You certainly cannot fault Triton for their aftersales service in the UK.
