screw loose
On sweeping some shavings off my workshop floor I have unfortunately found a 10mm long x 6mm black grub screw (the type that needs an allen key to wind in & out)
I initially suspected my Jointer/thicknesser (blade set up screws) but checking over this tool I cannot find any problems at the moment.
However on that day I also used my Triton router and Triton workcentre & trition saw.
Can anyone please suggest if from the Triton where to look for the loss?woody U.K.

Does your jointer have pulleys?
Screws similar to the one you describe are used to lock the pulley to the shaft.

Older band saws also used grub screws the lock in the sliding blade guides, do you have one of those missing ?
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

If you have a Triton router check on the switch side of your router I had one drop out of there on mine.

screw missing
I'm still looking.
Worked out it cant be the triton saw, the dust bag is on so anything dropping off there would have been in the bag.
checked my bandsaw guides =OK
Will check out the router switch area (later on naught degrees centrigrade at the moment  )
I'll take the pulley covers off and look in the jointer thicknesser.
Worrying isn't it :eek:woody U.K.
