Triton TA235CSL vs TSA001 and Triton specials at Masters
Good morning all
For those that are interested or maybe that don't know, Masters are having a huge tool sale at the moment and the whole range of triton gear has been reduced. I picked up a series 2000 work centre yesterday for $559 reduced by $140. Going back today to have another look at the tools.
But on another note can someone tell me what the difference is between the TSA001 235mm saw and the TA235csl saw apart from the obvious physical appearances that is lol?
I've read some somewhere that the TA235CSL is the replacement for the TSA001 but then read somewhere else that the TSA001 has been resurrected because it's the triton recommended saw for the workcentre?... I'm a bit confused hope someone can help I'm thinking of buying a new saw to go with the new workcentre but not sure which to go for now. Masters have the TA235CSL on special as well but not the TA001. Thanks everyone in advance..regards dwr69417(Dave)Last edited by dwr69417; 5th June 2016 at 06:38 PM. Reason: change the title

The specification for both saws are here but the immediate difference is I see is the TA235CSL has a more powerful motor (2300W vs 2000W). Both are compatible with the 2000 series work bench and also the stand alone saw bench.

Thanks for the link Lappa, I've been looking at things all day and I've reached the conclusion despite the TA235CSL being more powerful according to the Triton site (the link you supplied) the TSA001 is more ideally suited to the work centre due to the diecast base. Further to that I've heard from a couple of other sources that the TSA001 is the best saw for the table. Just worked something else out as well, the TA2CSL is 2300w and theTSA001 WAS 2400w and its now been released with a 2000w motor. I think I'm going to look for a 2400w TSA001.
Thanks again.
