While my setup may look different to yours, its exactly the same in principle.

    1) Top of table with winder access hole.

    Attachment 528378

    2) Winder coupling on router (3)

    Attachment 528379

    3) winder handle (4) through hole in table and router coupling (3)

    Attachment 528380

    4) Winder handle (4) and router coupling (3) engaged

    Attachment 528381

    5) Router lock (1) and micro adjust knob (2)

    Attachment 528382

If all is well with the internal threads, with the router lock (1) released (turn anti clockwise), your should be able to rotate the micro adjust knob (2) or rotate the winder handle, and the router should wind up and down.

    Hope that helps

    BTW.

Make sure the handle lock is OUT

    not IN

    good luck with that

I still havn't sorted the winding handle , i thought i'd sorted it today , a video i watched showed me i needed a different winding handle number insert .They had number insert 1 i have since sorted this the JOF001 TRITON ROUTER works on that number insert . The Router bit holders themselves the 6mm bit holder won't work at all even with new six 6mm bits they won't` go in at all , the half inch 1/2 fits perfectly , but the router bit keeps going down the shaft the winding handle works as it should , I seem to be taking one step forward and two back . Will i be able to change the , winding handle number insert on the TRITON TWX7RT001 ROUTER TABLE MODULE myself as its set up perfectly . It looks like its set well in the winding handle insert . The Triton modol i have is the Triton 1400W Dual Mode Precision Plunge Router MOF001, which was number 2 winding handle number insert . Thats why i would like to change the winding handle number insert to number 2 , and have something with a bit more power . Thank you Trevor Bilton .
