    Default SOLD-Series 2000 W/Centre & RTA system-SOLD

    SOLD

Finally...I have upgraded, and I need to make room for the big stuff!

I am selling my entire Workcentre Series 2000 setup which includes:
    ..................
    The Workcentre series 2000
The Triton 2400W 9 1/4 saw (the old heavy duty one)
    Height Winder installed
    Mini Extension Table
    Planer Attachement (without the planer)
    Bevel Ripping Guide
Dust Bag and Bucket and hoses
    ...................
Router Table (RTA300) - (Sorry..the router stays with me!)
    Router Stand (RSA300)
    Biscuit Jointer attachement
    Finger Jointer attachement
    Jigsaw attachment
    ..................

I would love to sell it complete, as they were assembeld as a set, and they would probaly pine for each other if seperated (pardon the 'pine' pun).

I will miss this orange gear...but it was finally time to upgrade.

This set has had little work (but has been used), and was used as my training / demo gear when I was with Triton (so you can guarantee it was set up right, and used carefully).

PM me for more details, or if you want to make contact.

    ....Tony

Well the upgrade is proceeding nicely....

Managed to carefully and with great precision, unload the new CTH-110L 3HP 200kg Left tilting beast (meaning dodgely and with much swearing... balance the saw as I uneasily slid it down a painters plank, off the rusty trailer...by myself!).

Cast tops mounted and aligned...saw blade mounted and aligned....fence mounted and aligned, realigned, realigned....Got it!

Just like setting up your Triton....its worth spending the time at this stage to get it right. 2 hours now can save much more time and money later.

Rigged up the dust extraction (still going to use the Triton Dust Bucket with the vacuum for now).

Spent an hour of so tonight...mounting the mighty TRA001 router (after fixing the shagged speed controller)..into the Jess-Em Rout-R-Lift (haven't made the router extension for the saw table yet...but just wanted to see what it looked like! Bolted straight on which was a pleasent surprise. Has anyone else mounted the Triton to the Jess-em?? Curious to know if there has been a significant advantage.

Will keep you posted to my Workcentre '3000' progress..

    Hi Tony,

Sounds like a great setup. How much are you wanting to sell this for and where are you located?

So do we ban you from the Triton area now?
Oh wait, now we know why you kept one piece of orange gear (the router)

Yep! All sold...many thanks to all who enquired.

The lucky recipient will probably reveal himself when it comes time to untangle the carefully knotted orange mass heading his way...and figure out where to hang all the bits! (man....there was soooo many bits!)

Yes Stuart...I only kept the router so I could harass you (and other GMC lovers like you)

The Deluxe Alignment system is on my list of must borrows (well I have to test these things for quality don't I??) How did you find yours?

Now Dohboy, you know where to find the answer to that question!
Full writeup here on Stu's Shed (of course!)

Bottom line is - there are a number of different versions of this sort of calibration tool on the market. You'll get a pretty good (accurate within about 1 - 4 /1000th") setup with any of them, so whichever you choose you'll end up with a tablesaw that works well.

Not for the Triton however - you need a proper mitre slot to use them. The only one that can possibly be used on the Triton table is the Woodpeckers one from PWS.
because you can use it with the rear cylinder resting on top of the Triton mitre slot. Not the ideal solution, but about as good as you can get because of the non-standard Triton slot.
