Question Anyone have a template for MDF Slider on Triton Biscuit Joiner

    Hi
Does any one have a template or diagram for the MDF slider on the biscuit joiner. Mine has got wet from a leak in the shed roof. It has swelled up and is quite distorted making it impossible to reference off.

I suppose I could buy a new one but thought of making one of I can find a template with the correct dimensions.

The overall width of the jointer is shown as 680mm. This must be one dimension of the MDF slider. The other dimension should be easy to calculate (and refine) by measuring the rectangle in the table. Given that the operator's end of the main structure is flush with the base of the slider, the locating holes for the fixing bosses should be dead reckoning. The locating holes for the slider guides are not critical width-wise, but their location in from the long edges could be calculated using scrap pieces, I think. Perhaps the diagram at http://www.triton.net.au/Helpers/Get...ame=BJA300.pdf will help. If all that fails, see the post here from Tiger

    Regards,

    Ray

If you are not in a hurry I could get one down from the storage shelf in the shed and take some dimensions for you tomorrow or Tuesday ?
